Ammonite Pair 25.4cm
A Beautiful pair of cut Ammonite fossils from Madagascar replaced by coloured calcites. The species is Cleoniceras and they are 120 million years old from the Cretaceous period. The Ammonite fossil is 25.4cm diameter at it's widest and was found in the Jungles of Mahajanga on the North west coast of Madagascar a large Island off the East coast of Africa. The rough Ammonite was cut and polished to make a pair, revealing the beautiful internal brown and yellow calcite chambers. This stunning fossilised ammonite pair from Madagascar come with display stands.
