Ammonite Pair 22.1cm
An amazing pair of cut Ammonite fossils from Madagascar replaced by coloured calcites. The species is Cleoniceras and they are 120 million years old from the Cretaceous period. This 22.1cm diameter Ammonite fossil was found in the Jungles of Mahajanga on the North east coast of Madagascar a large Island off the East coast of Africa. The rough Ammonite was cut and polished to make a pair, revealing the beautiful internal coloured calcite chambers. This stunning fossilised ammonite pair from Madagascar come with display stands.
