Ammonite Pair 14.3cm
A Beautiful pair of cut Ammonite fossils from Madagascar replaced by coloured calcites. The species is holcophylloceras and they are 163 million years old from the Jurassic period. The Ammonite fossil was found in the Jungles of Mahajanga on the North east coast of Madagascar a large Island off the East coast of Africa. The rough Ammonite was cut and polished to make a pair, revealing the beautiful internal open beige calcite chambers. This stunning fossilised ammonite pair from Madagascar come with display stands.
