Ammonite Pair 16.4cm
A striking pair of cut Ammonite fossils from Madagascar replaced by coloured calcites. The species is Cleoniceras and they are 120 million years old from the Cretaceous period. The Ammonite fossil was found in the Jungles of Mahajanga on the North east coast of Madagascar a large Island off the East coast of Africa. The rough Ammonite was cut and polished to make a pair, revealing the beautiful internal hollow brown calcite chambers. This fabulous fossilised ammonite pair is 16.4cm at the widest diameter, they are from Madagascar and come with display stands.
